I am so excited!!

I have found two framing companies I am really excited about. One is more "shabby chic" and the other is more traditional. So no matter your style, I have you covered. I can't wait to show you samples from both companies. I am excited about the fact you can leave my home with a portrait of your family and it will be totally ready to hang. After you have your photo session and order your portraits, I will have you come to my home and pick them up and then we can decide on a frame that suits your decor. If you are needing any portraits for Christmas gifts, now is the time! If I have not already taken your picture, we need to schedule that soon. I really don't like the fact I am losing my outdoor studio already. I am praying for warm weather just a little while longer, but if not we can bundle up and head out for an authentic winter Christmas scene (or better yet take it around a fireplace)! The deadline for Christmas gift frame orders is the Monday before Thanksgiving, November 24. I can still take portraits after that but if you are wanting a frame, it needs to be ordered before the end of November.

My Christmas card season is in full swing and I am loving it! I am having so much fun designing your cards for you and trying to make each one unique! There still is plenty of time to order your cards but Christmas is coming faster every day!!

I wanted to let you know, I have also added several "Collections" to my site. You can purchase some of the more popular items together at a pretty significant discount. I also have a Christmas Collection that includes your cards. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to be shooting you and your family soon!:)

A Few Big Changes!

You may have noticed a few changes since you were here last. Lorena and I have decided we are going to start our own seperate businesses and websites. Since Lorena is the one who asked me to join her in the first place and she already had the Heartwarming name, I am the one who is starting the new website. Look over our styles, which we realized were a bit different, and decide which one will better serve you and your family.

Since I have been telling my customers about the Heartwarming website and they have shared it with friends, I am asking them to share the news with their friends. I am now at http://www.tammychavies.com/ if you would like to schedule an appointment with me. Lorena is still at http://www.heartwarmingphotography.com/ if you would like to book with her.

No matter who's business you continue to follow, we want to thank you for your business and interest in our photography. I want to thank Lorena for letting me join her and for sharing her love for photography with me. I truly do not think I would have ever started doing this without her encouragement. We have had so much fun together building our business together but we realized that we each had different goals and dreams. I know we will each find success in our own business and I am excited to see where this journey takes the both of us!!

Two new shoots!

I want to share two shoots that I did this past week. The first one was with a family we know through my son and daughter's soccer teams. They are one of the most beautiful families. Mom is probably getting tired of me telling her that. It was very cold that morning but the kids did a wonderful job for me including little J who decided halfway through the shoot that he was done. I was lucky enough to get some really great shots before he quit on us though. His brother and sisters where another story altogether. I told his older brother I would not stop shooting his picture if he did not stop giving me that awesome smile. This is the same smile he had on his face the entire time he was on the soccer field. His sisters where absolutely beautiful and very photogenic. Thank you D family for letting me capture your family and their wonderful smiles and even a few frowns!
The second family was our neighbors who have a daughter at Ohio University. We all took a road trip and went to visit her and explore the campus. I had so much fun walking around this gorgeous campus and snapping candid and some posed shots of the family. You guys did a great job and E. we really miss you around the neighborhood.

You may also notice a name change on my photos. We are in the process of making a few more changes at Heartwarming. I will let you know more details when they are finalized.

A Fun Day With My Kids!

Sunday, I had the kids go with me to check out a new location for shooting. We picked up lunch after church and then went to a new park I found. They were such good sports as I made them pose in almost every inch of the park. Lucky for them it was not a very big park! I have two shoots coming up here and wanted to get a feel for the best spots. Here are a few shots I took. Aren't they just adorable....

You have to look hard here, but they are all there!

Thanks guys for your help today!

The Wedding of Mary and Ryan

This weekend we took pictures at our first offical wedding. We were not sure if we wanted to take on weddings yet but this was a family member of Lorena so we said yes! When I found out it was going to be an outdoor wedding, I almost squealed with delight! You know actually I think maybe I did! Let me just say, I love doing weddings!! We had so much fun. Mary and Ryan were wonderful! The weather could not have been more perfect and their children were simply adorable. Here is a sneek peek on what we took...
