OUR FIRST BLOG!!!

With all the new changes we are making in our lives lately, why not start blogging. I have personally just discovered blogs in the last year and have loved checking them almost daily for updates. It is amazing how disappointed I get when someone actually lives their life instead of updating their blog just for me. If anyone is out there and reading our blog, please know right from the start, you do not need to check this daily. We will probably only update it every few weeks. We will use it to showcase our specials, upcoming events and maybe feature a shoot we have done recently. I do want to tell everyone how wonderful and supportive you have been to Lorena and me as we start our new business. We are receiving lots of good feedback from family and friends. We need to hear both the good and the bad in order for us to get better at this. We both have some terrific husbands who are behind us and some pretty awesome kids who have sat tirelessly for us as we photograph them over and over again. We both have no idea where this business is going to take us but we have had so much fun planning, dreaming, and working toward the future. We can sit for hours (yes, just ask our husbands) and discuss ideas and we will have no idea how much time has gone by. Sorry families! We are working on our time management skills, even though you may not be able to tell yet.
We have many exciting packages, events, and specials planned for the next few months, so do come back and check our blog again. We are in the process of coming up with ideas for the fall and our Christmas card season. We are planning to offer a variety of Christmas cards for your family to choose from and add your updated family portrait to. We are working on senior portrait ideas for everyone who has a senior who will graduate next year. Baby and engagement announcements, thank you cards, and seasonal cards are all in the works. As a teaser, I can tell you some of our cards are even going to venture on the wild side. Don’t worry. I am talking about animal prints. If you have noticed animal prints are making a big impact in fashion and home décor so we are going to bring a little to your photos as well.
